PAHA- New exciting Grant Program from PAHA Washington DC
Dear Polish American Health Association members and friends:
I am happy to announce the launch of an exciting new undertaking at the Polish American Health Association (PAHA), which leverages PAHA’s charitable mission to a new dimension. For the first time since it’s founding in 1992 PAHA will be awarding grants on an annual basis.
Dr. Kyoichi A. Watanabe, in memory of his beloved late wife Dr. Krystyna Lesiak, has established the Dr. Krystyna Lesiak Grant Program within the Polish American Health Association.
PAHA Dr. Krystyna Lesiak Grants will be awarded to promising Polish or Polish American graduate and post-graduate students in chemical sciences related to medical research to support their research presentations at national or international scientific meetings.
I would like to express deep gratitude to Dr. Kyoichi A.Watanabe for his generosity and trust in PAHA for managing this program.
I would like to thank Dr. Pawel Muranski, former PAHA President, and Dr. Krzysztof Ptak, former PAHA Secretary, for their very critical support in the initial design phase of the program.
I would like to thank Mr. Roman Korzan for his expertise and dedication that has led to the successful creation of this program within the PAHA.
The PAHA Dr. Krystyna Lesiak Grant Program application procedures will be announced soon.
Sincerely,
Anna B. Korzan M.D. FACP
PAHA President
