New exciting Grant Program from PAHA. December 27, 2012
Dear Polish American Health Association members and friends:
I am happy to announce the launch of an exciting new undertaking at the Polish American Health Association (PAHA), which leverages PAHA’s charitable mission to a new dimension.
For the first time since it’s founding in 1992 PAHA will be awarding grants on an annual basis.
Dr. Kyoichi A. Watanabe, in memory of his beloved late wife Dr. Krystyna Lesiak, has established the Dr. Krystyna Lesiak Grant Program within the Polish American Health Association.
PAHA Dr. Krystyna Lesiak Grants will be awarded to promising Polish or Polish American graduate and post-graduate students in chemical sciences related to medical research to support their research presentations at national or international scientific meetings.
The PAHA Dr. Krystyna Lesiak Grant Program application procedures are available on PAHA website www.pahausa.org .
I would like to thank Dr. Kyoichi A. Watanabe for his generosity and trust in PAHA for managing this program, and those from PAHA who have worked hard on a creation of this program.
Please accept my best wishes a Happy New Year 2013.
Sincerely,
Anna B. Korzan M.D. FACP
